In this book I combined my love of mysteries, science fiction, action/adventure, and fantasy into a series of 6 short stories.
 
In the first story Frank Carver, who has been a member of the Norfolk County police department for six years, is promoted and becomes the only detective in the department. In his first case he is confronted with 3 bodies that have been found in locked motel rooms. There are similarities between the victims. All were middle aged males, they were found on the bed in the same pose, all were naked, and each of them was missing a part of their body. There were no personal items or clothing found in the rooms. The case is perplexing and isn’t like any case Frank had ever worked on or even heard about. It will take skill, logic, and a little luck to solve it.
